Inheritors of the Dark Scheduling Post
Captain Otztek wishes to retire, after a long career of sailing back and forth across the Wildsea. She has chosen Three Masks, a small spit community known for being home to bibliophiles, to spend her days writing a memoir about her adventures.
But her crew still has a ship to run and bills to pay. After dropping Otztek off at Three Masks, The Crew hears of a missing library ship and a mysterious Pre-V manor. The start of a new adventure beckons!
Full details of the game here. This will be a weekly Wildsea game on Roll20. Making an account is free and easy.
If you're interested in playing, reply to this post with:

oh yknow
(it's ruka)
2: When are you available?
Monday and Sunday. I could do Wednesday but I might be overloaded on tabletop on that specific day.
3: Stick some character concepts in here!
- Ironbound Dredger that is the remnants of a lost ship, torn between moving on and building a new life and continuing to pursue the mystery that killed their entire crew, which is posing a huge problem because they can't quite remember what that was due to the trauma and all
- Gau Hunter who is a little too gung-ho about hunting Cool And Interesting Wildlife. They just want to see cool things that want to kill them (and take pictures)
- Mothryn Wordbearer who has made the words people send their life's passion. They continuously seek out undelivered or unfulfilled missives in order to try and complete those aborted journeys, tidying the untidiness of other lives in a collage that they hope will add colour to their own.
4: What specific themes are you interested in exploring or avoiding?
Give me the fucked up esoteric shit I ain't here for a normal campaign. Load up on the Weird Bullshit cap'n
Otherwise nothing

2: When are you available?
I can make Wednesday and Sunday. Friday if we start after 5pst but closer to 6 would be preferred.

Weaver, a Tzelicrae Dredger that is a colony of weaver ants with a body built out of stitched-together leaves. They are fascinated by the pre-V era and hungry for any kind of lost/forbidden knowledge. Sort of an amateur anthropologist who learned how to be a person by studying the human relics of the abandoned settlement they were 'born' in, and as a result they are not quite fully socialized yet.
4: What specific themes are you interested in exploring or avoiding?
Exploration, history, learning cool new things about the world and what's in it. Also comically bad archeology. Also like, exploring the "outsider" perspective not just of society but of humanity itself - a colony of ants trying to be a person thinks very differently from a human, even when it's trying to be one. Can't think of any themes you might throw at us that I'd want to avoid.
5: Picture of a mushroom.
this one's pretty cool, i think,

Name: hi it's izzy
Availability: Monday finishing by 3 PST works with my work schedule (i.e. gaming while at the office), Friday after 4PST will probably be cool too.
Concepts:
-- Prickly Pear Ektus Navigator who used to be a champion wildskiff racer, retired either by choice, by force, or by injury (they're reluctant to say) and looking for new thrills out on the open green as part of a new crew.
-- Bleeding Tooth Gau Alchemist/Steeper who looks like an eldritch horror but is kind, thoughtful, friendly, and willing to experiment with the Weird Ichors that their fungal body tends to produce.
-- Ironbound Wordbearer cobbled together from the wreckage of a courier ship, bound by the Oath and the unshakeable feeling that their package's destination is in the Darkness-Under-Eaves (or perhaps the White City).
Themes: I'm here for cool exporation of ruins, digging deep for forgotten technology, how fucked up experiences can help disparate people bond together, and oh my god nature is way more metal than anybody ever anticipated.
Picture of a cool mushroom:
The Veiled Lady, a.k.a. the Kinugasa-take, with the most unfortunate binomial nomenclature of:
Phallus indusiatus.

2: When are you available?:
Mondays and Sundays are my best days, prefer Mondays partially because I do like to get stuff done on Sundays. Wednesdays I have game earlier on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, but if we have that being the most requested day I can swing it.
3: Stick some character concepts in here!:
I'll edit in more detailed concepts in a sec, but so far:
- A fuzzy bunny ear Ektus with trimmed spines at the perfect spots for hugs. Rootless or shankling. They like pretty things, and are quite hospitable. Unsure on Post.
Alternatively,
- A SWARM OF BEES. I mean a totally normal Ektus like above
don't mind the buzzing; No, that's not buzzing you hear, it's a verbal tic. EXTREMELY FLOWERY. The Queen is their heart, the flowers both help the Tzelicrae blend in as an Ektus and feed them and their young. Communicates sometimes by dancing. Tries to use 'I', often messes up and says 'we' or sometimes 'bee'.Unsure on PostPROBABLY TEMPEST because static electricity helps the bees get pollen. But not married to it. Hunter might also be a possibility, need to read that part more thoroughly.- Not sure what else, I'll try to come up with some other stuff.
4: What specific themes are you interested in exploring or avoiding?
Exploring: Family/Found family, finding yourself, not sure what else. LET'S EXPLORE ALL THE POST-APOCALYPTIC RUINS. You have no idea how much I am in for this idea.
Avoiding: Unsure.

2: When are you available? Sunday is the best day for me, though I could probably make Wednesday work if sessions aren't too long.
3: Stick some character concepts in here!
Just gonna reiterate from my old interest check comment since I'm still interested in all of these ideas:
-Ironbound Horizoneer, very "young" for an Ironbound and primarily identifies more as a person-shaped ship. Loves making friends and building connections between people, is deeply uncomfortable with the idea of being alone, may or may not actually be an almost-mawship gone horribly right. Also is me grabbing and running with this system going out of its way to cater to my love of Team Translator opportunities, I promise if I go with this one I will not linguistics at everyone constantly maybe.
-Ardent Steep who is both doing her best to be a calm anchor for her crew while also struggling with her own anger issues. In her forties. Ridgeback origin - very large and fights with her bare hands.
-Tzelicrae Crash. Still not a lot of thoughts in detail about this one just yet, it's mostly just my brain yelling "MORE ARMS MEANS MORE BOOMS" on a loop for now.
Also want to note that part of my brain has been chanting "ANCHORED ANCHORED ANCHORED ANCHORED" but nothing's really gelling into a real concept right now. Some Flavor Of Ghost is definitely on the menu, though.
4: What specific themes are you interested in exploring or avoiding?
Obviously all about exploration of ruins, and would also love at least a little bit of exploring ships and sailors being both literal and metaphorical essential links between communities and how that shapes the web of a wider society, and/or the distressingly ephemeral nature of that which has come before and how easily things that were once well-known and widely communicated in the past can completely vanish from existence such that those in the present can never actually know what those things were.
5: Picture of a mushroom.
I don't know fungi, but I Googled "cool mushroom" and got this and yeah, it's a damn cool mushroom, everybody look at it! (it's called a lion's mane)

2. Mondays. Yeah, my availability is that restrictive because I signed up for that many games.
3. A mysterious Ardent girl in a box! With golden lines all across her body! Oh, and she seems emotionless but she really isn't, she just emotes in an understated way.
4. I'm all for the setting mysteries! Learning unexpected things and all that. Can't think of any themes I want to avoid that I anticipate you using.
5.
