Cait had an eye for those little details, it was true, but even she had moments where things just spiraled out of control. Hearing the location, seeing and confirming it, that would keep it firmly in the back of her mind, though. And wouldn't that make a mess of a perfectly good moment.

Leaning into the kiss, Caitlyn let herself be pulled lower, scooting the chair up to the bed. Her lips parted silently, eagerly even, a greeting and welcoming of the tender moment. Breaking it was hard, but she did, resting her forehead against the other woman's.

"You're getting better about being patient, my dear." That kiss was exactly the opposite of what she'd expected, but maybe Vi was learning to take it a little slower. You know, for Caitlyn's sake.

The kiss went on for a while. "Hah...if you insist..." she huffed, kicking off her boots and climbing up to lay beside Vi. Propping her head up on an elbow, she couldn't keep the amusement out of her tone. "I'm not sure this qualifies as rest, though."

"Psh, I'm not getting any rest tonight. That became a lost cause when you showed up."

As Caitlyn got herself situated in the bed, Vi started unbuttoning her shirt. She had an electric blue sports bra on under it, along with the usual assortment of small scars from a lifetime of violence on the streets, and some killer abs.

"Cheeky thing, you had this planned from the start," Caitlyn laughed, reaching out to start helping unbutton Vi's outfit, fingers deftly undoing them and not hesitating at all about touching those muscles. She probably should have been more surprised at that, but she wasn't, not at this point.
